Understanding Conviction Scores
Learn how to read and interpret the consensus conviction score output.
The Conviction Score
The conviction score represents the mathematical consensus of our five market dimensions (Technical Analysis, Volatility Matrix, Order Flow Metrics, Option Chain Analytics, and News Sentiment).
Reading the Indicator
- 80% - 100% (High Bias): Strong directional consensus. Indicates that multiple indicators align on trend direction.
- 50% - 79% (Moderate Bias): Mild directional alignment. Often observed during initial breakout phases.
- Under 50% (Neutral/Consolidating): Low conviction. Indicates market consolidation or conflicting indicators.
